2019 Flint mayoral election

The 2019 Flint mayoral election was held on November 5, 2019, to elect the mayor of the city of Flint, Michigan. The primary was held on August 2, 2019. Sheldon Neeley narrowly defeated incumbent mayor Karen Weaver by less than 300 votes.

Results

Neeley beat Weaver by a slim margin of 50.19 percent to 48.74 percent, winning by only 300 votes. Turnout was estimated at 19%.

The primary was won by Weaver and Neeley, who had 42% and 40% of the vote respectively, while Pfeiffer trailed with 13% and Eason finished last with just under 5%. Turnout was estimated at 12%.
