Build3
build3 is an India-based impact startup studio that supports early-stage entrepreneurs through education, funding, and community. Founded in 2020, build3 operates from a beachside campus in Candolim, Goa, and offers programs including an accelerator, startup studio, a co-living coworking hub, and thematic retreats. The platform combines training, mentorship, and early-stage capital to help founders build scalable ventures in health, sustainability, and wellbeing sectors.
History and formation
build3 was established in August 2020 in Candolim, Goa, as a community-focused initiative to promote impact-led entrepreneurship. The organization blends early-stage funding, peer support, and capacity-building, drawing influence from principles of self-managed teams and collaborative work cultures.
In March 2021, the organization launched its startup studio program and incubated its first venture, Ruby's Coffee. By December 2021, additional startups, including That Lifestyle Coach and Oneboard Experience, had joined the studio.
During 2022–2023, build3 launched a startup-investor syndication initiative and partnered with NomadGao to provide a flexible, community-oriented workspace. The syndication effort was developed in collaboration with Invstt. In June 2023, build3 received B-Corp certification in recognition of its commitment to social and environmental performance. By August 2023, the organization had established a Category 1 angel fund under India's Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) regulations.
