15 March 1808 – Somerset, England, United Kingdom ~70 mm (2.8 in) "hailstones, touching perhaps 100 mm in places, causing great damage. Indeed, some in Somerset were reported to be over a foot long (at 333 mm)"[dubious – discuss] and up to 220 g.
29 June 1917 − According to Japan Meteological Agency and Saitama prefectural government has official confirmed report, a 3,400 g (120 oz) and 29.4 cm (11.6 in), like a pumpkin size hail and others many large size hail show in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, where 10−60 centimeters hole hit occurs in rice field on five place, and one person death.(Source:Saitama Prefecture, Japan Meteological Agency)
27 August 1973 – Cedoux, Saskatchewan, Canada, nicknamed Gawel stone at a diameter of heaviest at and 290 g (10 oz)

31 July 1987 – during Edmonton Tornado official larger than 7.8 cm (3.1 in), reported
