Rodd's

Rodd's is the brand name of a bottled iced coffee launched in May 2025 by YouTubers William Lenney and James Marriott. It is a dairy-free and plant-based coffee which was first made available in Sainsbury's stores across the UK on 1 May 2025.

History

Before the product's launch, Lenney and Marriott began an Instagram page teasing the launch of the new product. The pair wore t-shirts reading "FOLLOW @roddsroddsrodds in various YouTube videos leading viewers to follow the accounts online, which reached over 95,000 followers before launch.

Speaking to The Times, Lenney said "We felt like you would go into the store and you’d end up with a milkshake instead of an iced coffee. We just didn’t really like the feel and the amount of sugar and the calories in some of them".

Overview

Rodd's is sold in 250ml bottles at £2.20 per bottle. It is marketed to a Gen Z audience as the "best-tasting iced-coffee you can buy on-the-go". The product's label is mostly black with a pair of eyes on the front as well as the logo and coloured stamp depending on which of the three flavours the bottle contains.

All three flavours are manufactured in the Netherlands and are made with arabica beans from Colombia, sourced through the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia.
