Team Neusta (proper spelling team neusta) is a group of companies headquartered in Bremen, Germany, specializing in digital consulting, development and operations, ranging from complex software, mobile and e-commerce solutions to conceptual design, artificial intelligence, design and usability, and communications. Organized as a Societas Europaea (SE), the group employs around 850 people at nine locations in Germany and Switzerland.
History
The company traces its origins to Neusta GmbH, founded in 1993 by Carsten Meyer-Heder. Over the following years, the group expanded by founding additional companies. In 2002, team neusta GmbH was established as a holding company under which the existing and newly founded companies were brought together. Since 2025, the holding company has operated as a European company (SE).
In August 2025, team neusta SE sold its majority stake in its subsidiary neusta mobile solutions to CONTACT Software.[1]
Since the beginning of 2026, CONTACT Software GmbH has held a majority stake in team neusta SE, having acquired the shares of founder Carsten Meyer-Heder. On 1 October 2026, Meyer-Heder handed over leadership of the company as CEO to Markus Dietrich, previously CEO of the digital agency IBM iX.[2] From the end of 2026, Meyer-Heder will remain with the company as a member of the supervisory board.
