The following list focuses on train routes in the Netherlands. A list of all train stops can be found at the Dutch railway services.
Train number series
The train routes in the Netherlands as of 2011 are listed below, along with the number of train series. Please note that this information may be out-of-date.
Usually, train series numbers are multiples of 100 followed by a number ranging from 1 to 99. Except for certain international services, trains in one direction are represented by odd numbers, while trains in the opposite direction are represented by even numbers. These numbers differ from the table numbers of railway lines in the Spoorboekje, as well as from locomotive, railcar, train set numbers.
