Declined PROD, rationale was to take to AfD anyhow. Very much a undersourced article with one source acting as priamary source. Verging on NOTNEWS as to be honest it isn't as notable as the Worldwide music charts. If the individual singles were notable and have their own article, wouldn't a category suffice? • Delete and merge anything redeeming to 2017 in British music. This has just become a sprawling mess and it goes back to the 2011 article (2011 in British music charts), primarily the WP:NOTNEWS and WP:IINFO problems of the weekly chart summaries. It would be like recapping the weekly progress of a sports league. The chart lists should just be pared down to the main overall albums and songs charts (don't need downloads, streaming, etc. on what should be a high level summary article) and merged to 2017 in British music. Significant chart achievements can then be listed there as well. For the lesser charts, there are dedicated lists for List of UK Album Downloads Chart number ones of the 2010s, List of UK Compilation Chart number ones of the 2010s, etc. for more detailed breakdowns. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars^{Talk to me} 23:50, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

• Keep Some of this is really excessively trivial (I don't think we need a week by week description, just a description of the more important events in the year), but the information on number ones etc is valid and probably too long to merge (and going to get longer). --Colapeninsula (talk) 11:13, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
