Previously soft-deleted at AFD. Ran unsuccessfully in the 2018 election and is now a candidate for the 2025 election. The article should only be recreated if the subject wins or receives sustained, significant coverage in reliable, independent sources. At this point, fails WP:GNG, WP:NACTOR, and WP:NPOL, with no in-depth coverage beyond routine election announcements. Junbeesh (talk) 10:14, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: The infobox says he’s a member of the parliament since March. I can’t find a source to verify this (I’m lazy to do a search); can someone verify this? If yes, then it’s a clear pass of NPOL#1. If it fails, I guess it should be removed from the infobox. Best, Reading Beans, Duke of Rivia 10:52, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Delete: Still non-notable. I can't find anything about the actor, the political career is limited to articles saying the person is a candidate, then some coverage for having said things [1] that people didn't like. I don't see enough coverage to build an article with. Oaktree b (talk) 13:15, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- This person is merely a name on a list in every source that I can find. There's no way that a biography is achievable. Delete. Uncle G (talk) 00:53, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. Elected for Legislative Council as of 14 March 2025. Now passes WP:NPOL. RangersRus (talk) 19:46, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
Delete. Per nom. Fails WP:NPOL. The degree of significance of the subject and of role as politician and actor is not enough to warrant a page on the subject. RangersRus (talk) 15:09, 11 March 2025 (UTC) - Comment Dayakar is first on the INC list of candidates for the one-third of Legislative Council seats elected by members of the Telangana Legislative Assembly. As the INC has 60+ MLAs (the threshold for one seat in the LC is 20) it's 99% certain Dayakar will be elected. Nevertheless, the current content of the article is somewhat incorrect - he is not officially yet a member of the Council. So he will very likely satisfy NPOL on 20 March. Seems WP:BURO to delete now, just wait 8 days and then deal with the issue (close as keep if election confirmed, or relist if not elected to see if there is a GNG pass). - I concur. Best, Reading Beans, Duke of Rivia 02:14, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Reading Beans: I've clarified the last sentence of my comment (italicised words), I think you will still be in concurrence, but just giving you a heads up in case. Regards,--Goldsztajn (talk) 03:02, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- I concur. Best, Reading Beans, Duke of Rivia 02:14, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- Keep - Seems to be have won now, and is notable by NPOL. See [2] ⁂CountHacker (talk) 20:43, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Keep satisfies WP:NPOL per the sourcing supplied by CountHacker. Regards, --Goldsztajn (talk) 00:42, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- Keep: Now meets NPOL#1 as a member of a state legislature. Best, Reading Beans, Duke of Rivia 05:06, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- Keep passes WP:NPOL as a member of a state legislature.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 07:07, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
