Armenian soap operas

WP:OR. There is no such a genre as Armenian soap operas, there is only soap operas that produced in Armenia, USA and so on. Maybe list or category, but this article summarizes the different soap operas under one title and critiqued.

Keep or Merge into Soap opera. The Armenian media apparently uses the term "soap opera" to describe these shows (e.g. here:[1]) and there are plenty of sources indicating this is not original research. Although the article could be merged into Soap opera I worry that the resulting article might be too clunky, and there are articles about TV serials in a few other countries including India, although there is no article on American soap operas, for example. I would rather see other articles expanded to similar depth as this one rather than squeezed into one article with limited country-specific information (except of course for information specific to the USA, which is always abundant.) This probably necessitates leaving this and similar articles alone. --Sammy1339 (talk) 23:26, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
