No notability whatsoever. This is about one single tree, not a species. One singular tree. Amccann421 (talk) 01:21, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Delete. We have plenty of articles about notable trees, so that's not an argument against this one. (See Category:Individual trees and its many subcategories.) And this particular tree is not entirely without reliable source coverage: at least two articles from the Sun-Sentinel discuss this tree as a long-loved local landmark. [1][2] Without more, however, I don't think this local newspaper coverage is enough to meet our notability standards. Also, I found no evidence whatsoever for naming this tree after a Captain Henson; local promoter Auylan Harcourt Brook brought the tree from Africa in 1920 and seems to be the person most closely identified with it. --Arxiloxos (talk) 01:54, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Delete I cannot find any coverage that would allow this to meet WP:GNG. The local newspapers I don't see as sufficient. Vanamonde93 (talk) 02:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Merge to Dania Beach, Florida. Clearly a notable tree. Deletion is inappropriate; if not for this AFD, this would have been a simple, non-controversial merge into the article on the small town where this beloved tree lives. New USER:Sophie1776, would you be willing to add a brief section about this tree to the Dania Beach, Florida page?E.M.Gregory (talk) 14:52, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

- Delete - Singular trees can be notable. But I don't see how this one is. --Oakshade (talk) 03:42, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
