Yet another Tolkien's minor character with nothing but PRIMARY sources. Fails WP:GNG. Kept 3 years ago b/c back then the argument that "It's Tolkien!" (so has GOOGLEHITS) was enough. Recent trend at AfD suggests that this won't be enough to day... PS. And yes, WP:BEFORE was followed, this character does not have an entry in Tolkien Encyclopedia nor any in-depth analysis, yadda yadda, seriously, it's as minor as it gets. Delete Most academic and journalistic discussions of Curufin have been little more than brief mentions of the character. The few that are more substantial are merely plot summaries. ―Susmuffin ^Talk 14:41, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Delete I am saddened that this article was kept as recently as 3 years ago. Name dropping is not enough to keep the article. Not every named character in the Similrilion is notable. If the story of Luthien and Beren had ever beenfully developed on the level of LotR, Crufin may have had enough sourcing to be notable.
