DeleteFails WP:GNG, college football players are not inherently notable and this one does not appear to be an exception. Such careers can gain "steam" over time and in the future the subject may produce enough coverage to achieve notability.--Paul McDonald (talk)- unless' more are presented by Beanie... change to keep and going to wipe the egg off my face.--Paul McDonald (talk) 15:27, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Keep, has significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, see the following: Alabama may move in on a Mississippi tug-of-war for a Gulfport standout from the Sun Herald (p2); ESPN projects Derick Hall as a first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from Sports Illustrated; Auburn football's sack leader Derick Hall announces his decision from USA Today; 2023 NFL Draft: The most intriguing prospects from every SEC football program from The Athletic; Derick Hall and Eku Leota: A tag team living on the EDGE from The Auburn Observer; Auburn EDGE Derick Hall continues to deliver as part of the Tigers’ pass rush from the Opelika-Auburn News; Making the Case: Derick Hall from Rivals.com; and Signing Day: Gulfport four-star outside linebacker Derick Hall signs with Auburn from the Clarion Ledger. Meets the general notability guideliine. BeanieFan11 (talk) 15:21, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

- Not Notable Football Player, So It Should Redirect To Auburn Tigers Because The Wikipedia Notability Rules Emery Cool21 (talk) 13:04, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- Did you even look at my "keep" rationale? Because right there that's eight pieces of significant coverage, easily passing the general notability guideline ("The Wikipedia Notability Rules"), which states
A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
I see no way this does not pass. And a redirect does not make sense to me, as that wouldn't really help the reader at all. BeanieFan11 (talk) 14:52, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
