Article was deleted in 2011 and the reasons for deletion still apply. There are no independent sources covering his life or career; his publication record, with an h-index of 7, is still not enough to satisfy WP:PROF, and he does not meet any of the other criteria. As before, it was created by a single-purpose editor, so it is probably self-promotion. RockMagnetist(talk) 15:32, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

- Comment Shouldn't it be named Ferhat Özçep.--GlobalSecretary (talk) 19:08, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep Searching with "Ferhat Özçep" I found news coverage including him. I also found books by him are for sale in major Turkish book retailers. He also appears to be well known in the field of geo-Technics. Perhaps User:Nedim_Ardoğa, who is a Turkish engineer himself can look at this.--GlobalSecretary (talk) 19:28, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- If all the sources are in Turkish, it will be very hard for most users to verify it. Perhaps someone should properly source the Turkish article first - all it has is links to his faculty web pages. I'll ping @Nedim Ardoğa for input. RockMagnetist(talk) 21:09, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep.An academic with so many books [1] is certainly notable. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 07:03, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- Having authored several books is an achievement, but it isn't enough to satisfy WP:NPROF. There needs to be some evidence that they have been widely used or cited. The Google Scholar page that I link to above doesn't support that. For example, it shows zero citations for Jeofizik ve Tarihsel Gelişimi (Geophysics and its Historical Development). It would help if you could find some sources that discuss his work. RockMagnetist(talk) 16:29, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
