Fails WP:NACTOR. has had played minor roles in TV serie. received only one award which is not in itself grounds for WP:N. Actor lacks non-trivial coverage from independent reliable sources so fails GNG.. Saqib (talk) 07:20, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

- Keep - famous Pakistani actor, star of hit TV show Alif Allah Aur Insaan (TV series) among other things. See the sources tribune
.com , www.pk /story /1564312 /4-10-years-plan-auqaat-alif-allah-aur-insaan-star-imran-ashraf / .mangobaaz , dailytimes.com /dil-mom-ka-diya-episode-1-2-review / .com , www.pk /159555 /im-lucky-worked-khalilur-rehman-dialogues-best-imran-ashraf / .magtheweekly , and honestly, countless others, I just found those doing a search of Google News for "Imran Ashraf" in quotes, those all turned up on the first page, I am sure there are others on later pages. Pakistan has about 200 million people in it and he is one of the biggest television stars there according to many English-language Pakistani news sites. I would say he meets WP:NACTOR criteria, at least if being a famous actor in Pakistan qualifies. He has even won awards in what is the Pakistani equivalent of the Emmys. Excluding him would just be a case of systemic bias of English-language Wikipedia, mainly most editors being from wealthy English-speaking countries like the U.S.A., United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, prevailing. Someone with equivalent success as a star of American TV shows (with our U.S. population of over 300 million) would very noncontroversially have a Wikipedia article that nobody would ever suggest deleting. The article does need better sourcing to document its notability, of course, I think the sources I listed above would probably be enough for the WP:GNG. As far as meeting WP:NACTOR, that is documented in the sources, where they note what a big star he is in Pakistan, and given that country's huge population, that just means he is a big star, period. - Keep - probably easier to demonstrate for written work, but created multiple major pieces of work with reviews Oyeyeah 1, Oyeyeah 2, the magweekly ref above (the other three probably don't suffice). There's also various more, you do have to filter out quite a few for various reasons (including the Oyeyeah non-editorial ones), but hunt around brings up plenty.
