Does not appear to meet gng. Only independent sources that comes up on google are merely passing mentions that you would expect for a local media personality. And the emmy's mentioned are firstly regional, not national awards and secondly are not awards awarded to the subject of the article, but instead awarded to the station for stories he was involved in covering.
