Cass was a low level person in the American Revolution. He was involved in the state level organization of a veterans group. He received passing mention in some local histories. None of this comes close to rising to the level of notability. The fact that he had a son who served in the US cabinet and was a major party nominee for president does not make Cass notable, and nothing else does either. - Delete per nom. A mid-level officer in the Revolutionary War, he apparently didn't sufficiently distinguish himself, so he doesn't satisfy WP:SOLDIER, and I can't find any significant coverage either. Clarityfiend (talk) 09:40, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Does not meet WP:SOLDIER and not notable for stand alone article. Kierzek (talk) 15:10, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTINHERITED and WP:SOLDIER. A condensed version of the first two paragraphs could be merged into Lewis Cass#Early_life. Best, GPL93 (talk) 20:17, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - not one of the last surviving American Revolutionary War vets (by 3 decades!). I'd go along with merging as suggested by GPL93. Bearian (talk) 21:11, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
