Fails WP:GNG. Barely any information about KYOM-LP except for the primary source (also FCC legal information) and a newspaper article about the founding of KYOM-LP (branded as KSUN). The station is owned by Sunflower Community Action, which has more local news coverage in Wichita, but it's not clear whether that meets WP:GNG either. Since the station is not defunct yet, it should be redirected to List of radio stations in Kansas, in my opinion. Chuterix (talk) 21:47, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- My original details about the station is that its extreme low power at only 50 watts located in Pawnee Street of south Wichita, makes its signal coverage area very low, and I have never been able to pick up this station. The webstreams are not working, so it means the station has gone silent for some reason, possibly due to financial issues. No information has been reported on Sunflower Community Action since the summer of 2024. Chuterix (talk) 21:53, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

- Redirect to List of radio stations in Kansas: At least this station did get a newspaper article at launch… but in general, LPFM stations (and really, any radio station launched from the 2010s on) tend not to get the significant coverage that might have happened in earlier decades—and that Wikipedia all but requires nowadays. Another remnant of the lower inclusion standards of even 2015, when this topic area still tended to treat FCC licenses as a notability sign; that largely faded away after the 2021 RfC that deemed the GNG to be the notability standard here. (I'm not entirely sure why the nominator pivoted from an as-yet-uncontested PROD to an AfD, both of which followed up a move request that was just proposing this redirect at the wrong venue.) - Yeah, I thought about redirect; but just to be safe I did this request. Chuterix (talk) 16:31, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
