Fictional company from DC universe. Our article is pure plot summary. My BEFORE failed to find much outside a master thesis. (It also seems there's a real-world company named such that we don't have an article about?). The concept was used few years ago in marketing for the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (ex. [1]), but coverage is mostly about the movie, not the company, which is just a plot background. I suggest per WP:ATD-R to redirect this to the list of DC comics organizations. - I'm thinking Lex Luthor would be a better merge/redirect target if this does not meet GNG, though a small summary at the list may also be helpful. —siroχo 04:32, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- That's my thought as well. I remember it was mentioned a lot throughout the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited series, but I don't know of any analysis of it beyond that. I did a quick search on Google Scholar and only found an apart from a thesis entitled "Comic Books as the Modern American Mythology" (apparently only accessible behind a paywall), a small mention on page 10 of "Creation of a Procedural Narrative Within the Fictional Universe of DC Comics", page 72 of Caped Crusaders 101: Composition Through Comic Books, a few mentions in a Spanish-language publication, and mentions in some books, but that's about it. So, I support a merger. Historyday01 (talk) 05:29, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect to Lex Luthor - The fictional company is pretty specifically only notable because it is the company owned/ran by Lex Luthor, and pretty much all sources that discuss it are doing so due to its links to Lex himself. Covering it as part of the overall topic of Lex simply makes the most sense per WP:NOPAGE. It looks like the current article is purely plot summary, and it looks like the fictional history of the corporation is already covered throughout the plot summaries on Lex's article. But, I have no objections to a light Merger of any information would make sense to be added to Lex's article. Rorshacma (talk) 19:04, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge to Lex Luthor. It really isnt covered the much in that article, so a merge is better.Questions? four Olifanofmrtennant (she/her) 22:31, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Keep or merge with the Industrial sites section of List of DC Universe locations in the spirit of WP:PRESERVE. --Rtkat3 (talk) 19:14, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect to Lex Luthor I always prefer redirecting to appropriate subject articles rather than large lists. Rhino131 (talk) 01:15, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge - do not merely redirect -to Lex Luthor. Notability in this case would seem tied to the Luthor family, Lex in particular. This entity/creation goes back to the reboot/re-imagining of the Superman mythos in the late 1980s/the post-crisis era. - jc37 04:26, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge to Lex Luthor per others. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 21:17, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge to Lex Luthor. No separate notability from that topic, and has an obvious merge target. Shooterwalker (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge per above. Tumbuka Arch (talk) 11:08, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
