Keep. It needs improvement to add a bit of context (e.g. history), but this is an entirely appropriate spinout from the encyclopaedic discussion of public transport in the city that is too long for the main article. Thryduulf (talk) 12:06, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of bus routes exists because the consensus of many discussions about individual routes has been to merge them to a list, and the consensus of deletion discussions of multiple (although not necessarily all) lists of bus routes has been to keep. It is fine to discuss whether this list is encyclopaedic but the concept of a list in general is definitely encyclopaedic. Thryduulf (talk) 21:41, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Delete per WP:NOTDIR. This article has no independent sources (and hardly any sources at all), just two citations to the websites of Roads and Transport Authority (Dubai) which operates these buses. Furthermore, lists like these are not of use to people looking to catch a bus in the city, since many people don't ride bus routes from one terminus to the other; they may board somewhere mid-route and get off the bus somewhere else mid-route, and possibly make a connection to another route as well. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:59, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
lists like these are not of use to people looking to catch a bus in the city is correct, but that's not the purpose of these lists and is a reason they don't violate WP:NOTTRAVEL. It doesn't really speak to WP:NOTDIR, but despite multiple assertions that it does violate that I've still seen no arguments demonstrating that it actually does. - WP:NOTDIR says that Wikipedia should not include "Simple listings without contextual information showing encyclopedic merit." I think that would apply to this list, not to mention that the complete lack of independent sources and dearth of sources at all would exclude it under WP:GNG. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 14:14, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
