- Keep WP:1E does not apply to this article, he is not notable for a single event, but for earning the title, Hero of the Soviet Union and fighting in numerous air battles. Through a quick search on Google Books, I found he is mentioned in the following sources [1][2][3]. He is also mentioned in this webpage about the P-39 Airacobra in the USSR, [4].
