• Comment: The creator of the page, Delphster (talk · contribs), seems to be a single purpose account, and given that Delphster was the name of the website's creator's blog (see this diff), may have a conflict of interest. I'd like to do a proper search to see if the site meets WP:WEBCRIT or WP:GNG before stating a view, though. Cheers, Chocmilk03 (talk) 21:27, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
• Weak keep - I was able to find some coverage for the site on Google/Archive.org, although most of it is in passing. In a modding guide for the Sims 4, CBR described the site as "a massive CC site run by long-time fans that has been a major platform for Sims content since The Sims 2", and is discussed in an article by GamesRadar, and is briefly mentioned an article from Den of Geek. The site is briefly mentioned in two books about Machinima; 'Machinima for dummies' (p. 149), 'Machinima: The Art and Practice of Virtual Filmmaking' (p. 234, in an interview with a modder), as well as 'Women and Video Game Modding - Essays on Gender and the Digital Community' (p.96). Italian magazine Hacker Journal (November 2008, issue 163) mentions the site as "II principale sito dedicato al modding e hacking del capolavoro di Will Wright", calling it "the main site" for Sims 2 hacks and mods. A potential source is the research paper 'Specialist Language Acquisition and 3D Modding in a Sims Fan Site' - I'm currently unable to access it to see if it discusses Mod The Sims though. I think there may be more about the subject in scholarly sources, but it's a bit out of my depth. I think the site scrapes by GNG. Waxworker (talk) 12:00, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible that a small section about the modding scene can be integrated into the main The Sims article, instead of the dedicated Mod The Sims and The Sims Resource articles, plus it allows for more discussion about Sims modding aside from these two sites. On review, it barely meets notability guidelines and most of the content is not supported or supportable by reliable secondary sources; what there is doesn't warrant an article on its own and can be merged into the main article. • Weak keep: I noticed that a lot of the coverage that Waxworker was talking about were older, so I also did a book search. Found a few extra sources: [1], [2] (passing mention), [3]. The real correct answer here is Zxcvbnm's note that it should just be in a dedicated Sims modding article, similar to Skyrim modding. I may take a crack at it one day, honestly.
