subject fails MUSICBIO. Search results only bring up promotional and download-related contents about her songs except this this which I think isn't enough to establish notability. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 20:35, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

- "Keep" But am not familiar with newspapers sites in Africa but it seems like Thisday [1], Daily Times of Nigeria [2], The Sun (Nigeria) [3] & Nigerian Tribune [4] are a reliable news source. Linda Ikeji appears to be another big entertainment blogger in Nigeria [5] , and it was recorded that Ms. Bodega also shut down Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015, here is a link from YouTube [6] and it was also confirmed by this big entertainment news source in Nigeria 'Pulse [7] and it seems they are know in Nigeria & Ghana, they also got nominated for "Online TV of the Year" at 2016 Nigeria Entertainment Awards [thenet.ng/2016/07/wizkid-olamide-phyno-grab-nominations-at-2016-city-people-entertainment-awards/]. So it's a "Strong keep" from me.--JK1286W (talk) 10:25, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- @JK1286W:,the sources you cited point to one headline of her songs being inspired by Fela. It is obvious the artist hasn't been discussed extensively by reliable secondary sources to establish notability, aside the headline. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 17:06, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Weak keep: Article needs to be improve with more independent reliable source, JK1286W hope you understand Oluwa2Chainz. If not yet, kindly read Wikipedia The answer to life--Jamzy4 (talk) 14:26, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Jamzy4:, how do you improve an article that lacks in-depth details from reliable sources? Possible? —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 20:58, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Oluwa2Chainz:According to this discussion, you provided one references, which is Vanguard newspaper. Wikipedia believe that Local and International newspaper are notable, content which i also believe. The subject article those not need to be on few Newspaper online site to prove notability. The article subject also has won an award which is Nigeria Entertainment Awards and a references, which makes the article to meets WP:MUSICBIO to my understanding. I believe this article can be improve instead to be deleted. According to my investigation, the user who created this article is a newcomer. He or she needs to know more about writing an article on wikipedia before moving to main space thank you.
- That reference is an interview and nothing more. By the way, the subject has never been nominated or won any major music award. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 18:42, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- Delete per nominator – non-notable artist. First keep vote comes from article creator, a single-purpose account with probable undeclared conflict of interest. Second keep vote comes from another user with possible conflict of interest given his/her history of making articles for non-notable musical articles that include self-authored promotional photos, written in a highly promotional tone, like [article that was deleted]. - Delete. Lack independent coverage. addressing the above links. Thisday is a reproduction of this and this PR pieces, also reproduced elsewhere. Daily Times of Nigeria is one of these other reproductions. Nigerian Tribune is a variation of them. The Sun (Nigeria) is dead, not a good sign. Reproduction of PR in not good enough. duffbeerforme (talk) 11:10, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
