"Muhammad Saeef Sayd is a Yemeni writer. His fiction piece "Waiting" has been translated into English and appeared in a 1988 anthology of modern Arabian literature." The single source, which is a passing mention in a larger work, is all I have to go by: no web searches turn up anything else. This, which is that source, only says that he wrote a single story which was once included in an anthology; I do not see a GNG pass here. jp×g 02:48, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

- Keep. There are sources to demonstrate notability, such as “Yemen bids farewell to to the writer Muhammad Saeed Saif after a lifetime full of giving“; “ A year since the departure of Muhammad Saeed Saif”; He died before publication... Novelist Muhammad Saeed Seif; and this bio summary. Mccapra (talk) 05:12, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Mccapra: How in tarnation did you find those? I will withdraw now, but please tell me what you used to get a hold of those -- I want to use it as well! jp×g 05:26, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
