Prod was removed without improvement. While accomplished and a published author, does not meet WP:GNG, and does not appear to meet either WP:NAUTHOR or WP:NSCHOLAR. Onel5969 TT me 21:23, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

- Keep According to Wikipedia:Notability (academics), distinguished professors are notable and "Professors" in the UK are equivalent to distinguished professors (see List_of_academic_ranks#United_Kingdom). On the other hand, I think a person with three notable books meets GNG or WP:Author. Ali Pirhayati (talk) 11:04, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - I would agree with the distinguished professor title, except the source clearly identifies him as a "reader", not professor, which according to your link above does not equate to distinguished professor.Onel5969 TT me 11:24, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- You can see that on his page at King's and also here.Ali Pirhayati (talk) 11:42, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

- Keep per Pirhayati. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 22:35, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per WP:AUTHOR and the multiple reviews of his books. (On the other hand, I'd be more impressed if more of them were authored rather than edited, and I'm not convinced we need a separate article for each book.) —David Eppstein (talk) 06:20, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
