No evidence of WP:BIO notability. - MrX 13:04, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: The article is less than an hour old and I think needs more development time. There is at least circumstantial evidence of the subject's work: multiple photo-credits through multiple agencies on the Guardian website; image page at the National Trust. (edit conflict)I'm not sure what the age of the article has to do with notability, but if someone can find reliable sources in the next seven days that establish that the subject is notable, I will change my !vote. Photo credits to do not help establish notability, as far as I know.- MrX 13:25, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm Rod Edwards - the photographer and author of this new article. Pardon my naively, but I've never used Wikipedia before. :)

I'd like to include reference to my name and work. I have a massive client list and i've been a professional for over 20 years. https://www.facebook.com/rodedwardsphotography I'm a major 360 degree interactive panorama contributor to The National Trust and also Visit Britain have just confirmed the use of my 360 imagery. My tourism work is also everywhere in UK for Visit Britain. Please see my web links for more information. I've also had private portrait sittings with HM The Queen and The Duke Of Edinburgh for the Golden Jubilee. I'm also looking to work towards new tv programs as presenter and director of photography.

I'm happy to add more development time but just getting to grips with Wikipedia !

Here are some 360 links on National Trust website ... I'm their sole approved supplier of this imagery :

I've also just updated the Wiki page entry with more info and links inc book detail.

Information has now been slightly updated with more updates to follow in 2014 ... NitromanX (talk) 09:22, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

*Don't Delete : article is now legitimate and meets Wiki requirements. NitromanX (talk) 19:52, 8 January 2014 (UTC) Struck through for WP:COISELF because NitromanX is, as he says above, Ron Edwards. --Bejnar (talk) 02:25, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article has not changed significantly. --Bejnar (talk) 02:25, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst i appreciate your guide lines for autobiographical entries to Wiki, the information is factual and non promotional. I'm keen to retain the entry if possible and do feel the information is valuable to the public. It's particularly important now that I'm the sole approved supplier of 360 virtual tours / panoramas for The National Trust and Visit Britain. Here are some links again that i'd like to include but not quite sure how to. Your assistance is much appreciated ... thank you ... :) Here are some 360 links on National Trust website ... Incidentally, I would be happy to submit this for "Articles for Creation" if necessary and if you feel it is biased in any way. Many thanks again ... NitromanX (talk) 09:35, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The National Trust is not a reliable source for establishing your notability. In fact they seem to be a marketing/promotion organization. One of the reasons we don't want editors writing their own biographies is because it's almost impossible for them to be objective. The article is not really a biography, it is more of a blurb about your career accomplishments. I don't think it would pass the articles for creation process without solid reliable sources to back it up.- MrX 12:21, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
