This topic is not notable. The article has not been substantively edited since 2016 and is out of date, and is little more than a list of appointments and post-holders, and fails WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Another article Directorates of the Scottish Government adequately covers the material. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:48, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
- Merge into Directorates of the Scottish Government This is a grouping of such directorates that appears to be defunct based on that article (replaced with "Constitution and External Affairs"; perhaps this can be redirected to that section if a merge happens). Directorates, from what I understand, make up the Scottish civil service and do not have individual notability as a political entity such as a Ministry would. A DuckDuckGo search of the term brought up nothing related to Scotland, and a Google search nothing substantial related to this. I would not oppose outright deletion if consensus came to it, but redirects are cheap and this has a few internal links to it. Whatever happens to this should also happen to Communities Directorates, Economy Directorates, Finance Directorates, Learning and Justice Directorates, and Health and Social Care Directorates; the nom should bundle them in a future nomination iff consensus emerges to merge or delete this. – John M Wolfson (talk • contribs) 04:03, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

- Merge with Directorates of the Scottish Government - There is not enough for a stand alone article here and I doubt there could ever be, but the merge proposal sounds like a good way forward. Dunarc (talk) 22:48, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
