Delete or Merge - There already is an article about Square, Inc. Timeline articles like this for companies are not standard practice on Wikipedia, nor should they be, and I don't see any reason for this to exist as a separate article from Square, Inc. This information is already covered there. Even if we had timeline articles on companies, they would only make sense for very major companies with long, complicated histories such as Hudson's Bay Company, not recently founded companies like this one. If there is any information in this article that is not covered in that article it can be merged but I doubt there is much that would need that treatment. Merge or Delete are both fine; the Square, Inc. article has excessively promotional content as well, and I'm not sure if anything needs to be merged. This is the ANI thread from 2017 about the editing. power~enwiki (π, ν) 16:43, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Merge to Square, Inc.#History. There's no need for a separate article per WP:SIZESPLIT or WP:CONSPLIT, nor is there any good reason to present this information as a table rather than in prose (WP:PROSE: "Prose is preferred in articles as prose allows the presentation of detail and clarification of context, in a way that a simple list may not.") Some of the items ought to be retained in the target; others (e.g. fairly arbitrary numbers of employees) probably shouldn't. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 23:49, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
