- If someone would like to simply redirect these, feel free to do so. I had a conversation with some other editors last night and agree that the best course of action is probably redirecting. As I haven't had time to do that, the AfD remains open. NoahTalk 11:03, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

- Keep. If the tropical storm project is no longer interested in these titles as set index articles, they should be turned into disambiguation pages to serve the purpose of reader navigation. Readers are better served by shorter lists that match the title sought. -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:17, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. It's much easier to find which storm you are looking for when there are only a few options rather than a long list. -- Tavix (talk) 13:58, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- Keep as a dab page (i.e. fix per mosdab if necessary) - or as a minimum as a redirect to an anchor in a list. DexDor (talk) 19:15, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- Keep as these pages aid navigation in their current form. Rubbish computer (Talk: Contribs) 19:18, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- Keep all, and perhaps nominate List of named storms (U–Z) for deletion, given there is no lists for other sections alphabetically. Ajf773 (talk) 09:34, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- Comment @JHunterJ, Tavix, DexDor, and Rubbish computer: As I said above, I discussed and agreed deletion would not be the best option after the fact that the AfD had started. Would it be okay to have all those links redirect to their specific storm name on the alphabetical list? @Ajf773: Just because nothing similar exists at this time, doesn't mean you can delete it. Nothing new would be created if that were the case. NoahTalk 13:08, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- No, per what I said above. -- Tavix (talk) 13:12, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- Ditto. DexDor (talk) 20:29, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- The alternative to removing that list is to create more to cover the full scope alphabetically. Ajf773 (talk) 22:16, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
