Aside from one incident, which is already discussed on the 2011 Senate elections page, this local politician is not notable Dajasj (talk) 11:35, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

- Weak Delete I'm not sure, I feel like since he's a senator, he could potentially become notable in the future. However, he doesn't meet the criteria for notability at the moment. WiinterU 16:12, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- @WinterU:, he has never been a senator, he also isn't a member of the Provincial States anymore. Dajasj (talk) 16:24, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

- Delete: fails WP:N and is already discussed on the 2011 election page. Brenae wafato (talk) 22:09, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep I don't understand why he wouldn't be notable as a member of the parliament of one of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands? It doesn't matter if he isn't a member any more - WP:NPOL applies to people who have held state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at that level. He's not a local politician in a town or city council - the provinces are the "layer between the national government and the local governments", according to Provinces of the Netherlands. - The Netherlands does not have a federal (or similar) system, as NPOL requires. This is also a part time position. And he fails WP:N without a doubt. The only attention he has received from the provincial paper (noordhollandsdagblad.nl) has been this specific 2011 incident (two articles). Dajasj (talk) 18:11, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- Delete, Dajasj explained why a second-level (regional) politician doesn't meet NPOL. Geschichte (talk) 19:19, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
