- The result of the discussion was: rename. -- Black Falcon (talk) 04:52, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- Propose renaming Category:Penn State Lady Lions field hockey players to Category:Penn State Nittany Lions field hockey players
- Nominator's rationale: Rename. The only Penn State women's team that uses "Lady Lions" is the basketball team. All other Penn State women's teams use "Nittany Lions". For an example of the usage of "Nittany Lions" for field hockey, see this story from Penn State's official athletics site. — Dale Arnett (talk) 21:38, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: delete. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 23:39, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
- Nominator's rationale: Delete. Not a defining attribute to the songs. Categorize it as a number-one song, categorize it as whatever language song it's sung in, but not as a "non-English" number-one in the United Kingdom. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 19:46, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Rename -- UK number-one singles are almost invariably in English. Accordingly, the exceptions are notable. However, the nmae is poorly constructed. The parent is Category:Number-one singles in the United Kingdom, so that the name should be something like Category:Number-one singles in the UK not in English language. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:20, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- So should we have similar categories for every chart and every country imaginable? "Number-one singles in the U.S. not in English", "Number-one singles in Australia not in English", "Number-one singles in France not in French", "Number-one singles in Japan not in Japanese"? It may be a notable achievement but it's not a defining characteristic. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:37, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. The alternative posited above is unworkable as pointed out by nom above - plus, we would be faced with the inevitable, how much in the foreign language must the song be to be foreign? Michelle (song) is French language? I Gotta Feeling is Hebrew? a waste of categorizers' efforts to boot... Carlossuarez46 (talk) 21:22, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Delete we do not categoruze things by what they are not, only by what they are. We avoid "non-language x" categories of any type. What next Category:non-native French speaking alumni of the University of Paris.John Pack Lambert (talk) 21:41, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: Rename. Timrollpickering (talk) 21:27, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Propose renaming Category:Abandoned Pools albums to Category:Tommy Walter albums
- Nominator's rationale: Abandoned Pools redirects to Tommy Walter and it's essentially a one-man band anyway. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 16:49, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: rename to Category:Good Clinical Practice.--Mike Selinker (talk) 21:12, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- Nominator's rationale: The entries in this category are general terms with much broader user than the particular use which the ICH GCP assigns to them. Also, none of the articles have good information about ICH GCP practices.
This category could exist if there were appropriate articles to populate it, but those articles do not yet exist. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:16, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Ok fine. Delete it. We can have this when we will have better articles about ICH GCP. Thanks. Abhijeet Safai (talk) 05:44, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Comment -- The main article is a redirect to Good Clinical Practice. If kept, it should be renamed to Category:Good Clinical Practice. I would have throught it was worth keeping. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:23, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Delete per nom.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:40, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
- Rename to Category:Good Clinical Practice. There are enough articles to populate the more broadly-named category.--BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs)

- The result of the discussion was: merge. -- Black Falcon (talk) 04:51, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- Propose merging Category:Non-free images of Mitt Romney to Category:Images of Mitt Romney
- Nominator's rationale: Unlikely that there will any other non-free images of Mitt Romney on Wikipedia (since he is still alive), can be merged with parent category. Legoktm (talk) 07:27, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose - If this image is acceptable, so is any image of a front cover of a book displaying him - and there may be any number of these eventually. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 16:53, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Merge there may eventually be many images of Mitt Romney, but the only other person with such a category is Barack Obama, which has 21 members rather than the single entry from Romney's category. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 21:24, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Merge for now. No prejudice against recreation if several images can so be categorized at some time in the future.John Pack Lambert (talk) 21:43, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
