Propose deleting Category:Summer events (Northern Hemisphere)‎
Propose deleting Category:Summer events (Southern Hemisphere)‎
Propose deleting Category:Winter events (Northern Hemisphere)‎
Propose deleting Category:Winter events (Southern Hemisphere)‎

Nominator's rationale: delete, with the exception of one article this entirely overlaps with Category:Autumn events by country, Category:Spring (season) events by country, Category:Summer events by country and Category:Winter events by country. Keep - it makes sense to group these together by hemisphere, as presumably winter in the Southern Hemisphere will centre on July rather than Dec. ('By continent', 'by hemisphere' etc will always overlap with 'by country'; doesn't seem a valid objection.) Also each has a subcat such as Category:Autumn holidays (Northern Hemisphere) which is not in the 'by country' tree. Oculi (talk) 15:16, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep -- It would be much better to split Category:Autumn events by country etc, by hemisphere. These should be (or largely be) containers for country subcats. Peterkingiron (talk) 15:59, 8 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
