- Nominator's rationale: Oxford colleges have a Category:X College, Oxford and a Category:Fellows of X College, Oxford, which contains Category:Heads of X College, Oxford. However for former Oxford medieval halls a fellows category is not needed as they did not have fellows. Currently the category of fellows of former colleges and halls contains only the categories of fellows of New Inn Hall and St Alban Hall.
Therefore I suggest renaming Category:Fellows of New Inn Hall, Oxford as Category:New Inn Hall, renaming Category:Fellows of St Alban Hall as Category:St Alban Hall and merging Category:Fellows of former colleges and halls of the University of Oxford into Category:Former colleges and halls of the University of Oxford.- Propose

- Agree. Seems sensible. --Bduke (talk) 10:15, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Delete all, the actual subcategories with content are already in Category:Heads of colleges of the University of Oxford, the category layers above are otherwise empty and redundant. Marcocapelle (talk) 18:39, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Comment (as proposer) Thanks Marcocapelle, delete all is the simplest solution. TSventon (talk) 11:22, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- Delete -- Alumni categories have long operated on basis that alumni of merged or renamed institutions were deemed to have attended the successor. New Inn Hall, Oxford and St Alban Hall were subsequently amalgamated into or replaced by colleges. This can result in apparent anachronism, as with a biography on which I worked where the subject appeared to have attended a collage long before it was established: he had attended a predecessor hall. However before the categories can be deleted they need to be emptied. It may be useful to keep have the hall categories (fellows, alumni, principals) as subcats of the successor colleges. - Comment Peterkingiron, All the categories for New Inn Hall, Oxford and St Alban Hall, Oxford were set up in 2009. I am only proposing deletion of the fellows categories as the medieval halls never had fellows.— Preceding unsigned comment added by TSventon (talk • contribs) 19:02, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Category with just one entry and a subcategory. ...William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 00:13, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- @WilliamJE: I have added the former players categories Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons players (1989–2006) and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees players (2007–2012) into the category. – Fayenatic London 12:52, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Relisting comment: Now has 3 subcategories, but still only 1 article directly in the category

- Propose renaming Category:Bradenton–Sarasota–Venice metropolitan area to Category:Sarasota metropolitan area
- Nominator's rationale: Rename, this was proposed previously when the name of this MSA got renamed in 2013 (old discussion). However, a general term for the MSA region was achieved that didn't rely on the defined MSA. I'm requesting for the rename to the general term so it's more consistent. – The Grid (talk) 13:05, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
