- Nominator's rationale: Not a useful category for 3 redirects for songs all pointing to the same album by the same artist. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:19, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- Nominator's rationale: The category contains several subcategories which can all be listed under the parent category Category:Mass murder so simplifying the category tree. There is one article Yang Jia about a particular mass murderer who already has several other appropriate category classifications. Hugo999 (talk) 20:08, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - there is the other parent Category:Murders to consider. ( Category:Mass murders, set category, subset of topic category Category:Mass murder, is the usual set-up.) Oculi (talk) 23:25, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Oculi this the pattern used throughout WP for subject discussion vs occurrences. Combining would not help users. Hmains (talk) 01:41, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment- Well I see the category Category:Mass murder as an overall category for articles and subcategories about Mass Murder so not requiring a plural subcategory; just as the category "Category:Mass shootings" does not require a parent category "Mass shooting", although the main article is "Mass shooting". Hugo999 (talk) 10:48, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Standard pattern on Wikipedia to use singular for overall topic and plural for instances. See, for example Category:Death and Category:Deaths from hypothermia, Category:Food and drink and Category:Foods, Category:Wind and Category:Winds, etc. Grutness...wha? 23:07, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- The result of the discussion was: rename. MER-C 19:40, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominator's rationale: In July 2019, the role was officially renamed from president to commissioner when Cathy Engelbert took office. Functionally there is no difference, the responsibilities are the same, it's just a formal title change to align with how the NBA operates. SportsGuy789 (talk) 15:45, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- rename per nom -- on the precedent of alumni of merged colleges, I would suggest that we do this, but for the benefit of pedantic users the category should be provided with a headnote that the category includes the office-holders who had the title of president until <a certain date>.
