• Propose renaming Category:Measures of Senedd Cymru – Welsh Parliament to Category:Measures of the National Assembly for Wales

Nominator's rationale: A recent CFDS (actioned at 06:54, 2 September 2020) has created a historical fiction, because there have been no Measures passed since 2011, when the National Assembly for Wales (NAW) gained the right to pass Acts and simultaneously lost the right to pass Measures. Whilst the NAW was renamed Senedd Cymru earlier in 2020, renaming the legislating body does not retrospectively rename the legislation that was passed by that body in the past. • Oppose. If this rationale is taken to its logical conclusion, this would mean that we would eventually have two categories for measures taken by the body under its two different names.   No, we won'thave two categories for measures taken by the body under its two different names. There have been no Measures passed since 2011, and there won't be any more because there can't; see Measure of the National Assembly for Wales and List of acts and measures of the National Assembly for Wales. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 07:32, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  I didn't realize that the body had lost the power to pass measures. It seems like having the greater power to create acts would by its very nature retain the right to pass lesser forms of legislation, but I guess not? • Oppose see List of acts and measures of the National Assembly for Wales. We discussed renaming a category for Acts of NAW as being closed at 2020, because the Assembly was being renamed to Senedd Cymru. There should be Category:Measures of the National Assembly for Wales, 2008-11 for the period when it could only pass subordinate legisation; Category:Measures of the National Assembly for Wales, 2012-20, when the assembly occasionally passed Acts; and Category:Acts of Senedd Cymru, which should apply from 2020 when the renaming took effect. We might have Category:Welsh legislation as a container for these three. In 10 years' time it might be appropriate to add a new sibling category for 2030s legislation. Nominator's rationale: This category is empty and will forever remain so, as it is misspelled. The correct spelling already exists at Category:White privilege. Convert Category:Comedy films featuring female antagonists to article List of comedy films featuring female antagonists

Nominator's rationale: The use of terms such as protagonist and antagonist has been contentious in the past, to the point that WP:PROTAGONIST was created as a way of addressing original research concerns. Nominator's rationale: Supporting character is just a bad stub and there is no category tree for this (i.e. we don't have any Category:Supporting characters). Why do comic characters get this subcategory? Who decides what or who is a supporting character? This contains just some badly named articles (List of Superman supporting characters should just be List of Superman characters, and so on - just add Superman to the list, problem solved; it is in fact strange we have a list of Foo-hero supporting characters for not a more likely searchable term for Foo-hero characters...). _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 06:24, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

• Keep Maybe fix the naming issue (that you precive exists) on the lists before going for a category deletion.
