Nominator's rationale: Following the mass AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of cultural icons of Australia, this category is now practically empty. The consensus that "cultural icons of X" is not an appropriate WP:LISTCRIT renders this category quite unlikely to be filled up again any time soon.
