Nominator's rationale (Viking rulers): This is the definition currently given at Category:Viking Age monarchs. "Viking rulers" is too vague, moreover "Viking" is in Category:Pirates and Category:Medieval piracy, which may not necessarily apply to all these Norse monarchs outside Scandinavia.
Nominator's rationale (Viking Age monarchs): The definition given is essentially all Norse / North Germanic monarchs in Denmark, Sweden and Norway in the 8th to 11th century. "Viking Age monarchs" is just not clear enough, because it doesn't necessarily mean the monarchs in question were "Vikings", just that they reigned during the "Viking Age". It's also not clear they were all "pirates". We should call them "Norse", as they are in Category:Norsemen, and it is how the category is described, and its subcats work. PS: Re-parent from Category:Mongolian people (=people from Mongolia) to Category:Mongols (=ethnic group), because many of these Mongol monarchs weren't born in Mongolia itself anymore, and probably never visited it, as they spent their reigns in other parts of Asia or even Europe.   • Maybe this should be argued case by case. The category seems justified for Moon Knight, e.g. "Mr. Knight works with the NYPD investigating police cases." The occult detective John Constantine need not be kept in this category as he is in the psychic & occult detective sub-cat. Batman has a citation for "Batman is regarded as one of the world's greatest detectives, if not the world's greatest crime solver," but is in a sub-cat for gentlemen detectives.
