Korean War Service Medal is a South Korean award for soldiers from the United Nations coalition who fought in the Korean War. It is a participatory award and already there is Category:Military personnel of the Korean War, which has the articles of military personnel who fought in the Korean War. Nominator's rationale: There is not a well-established category tree for football managers by city or country subdivision. As most coaches are former players, this creates a large amount of overlap with player categories, e.g. Stuart McCall is in Category:Footballers from Leeds and Category:Football managers from Leeds. Therefore, there does not seem to be a strong need for these manager categories. The few managers that did not have a playing career should be upmerged to "Sportspeople from <location>". S.A. As mentioned, there is such a large overlap for football managers with players that it makes such a categorization excessive. The purpose of these categories is to diffuse "Sportspeople from <location>" categories, which is largely already accomplished by the "Footballers/Soccer players from <location>" categories. S.A. This seems like a clash between the "Greek people" tree and the "Ancient Greeks by occupation" tree. The 1st century BC category certainly has room to grow (I've added three missing articles now, but there are more).   •  Comment: I have just submitted a closely related CfR: Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2023 May 21#Category:Ancient Greek statesmen, and was in the process of nominating all these categories when I just found this CfR. I also want to rename them, but for a different reason. Namely: to replace "statesmen" with "politicians" (per WP:C2C and Category:Statesmen having been deleted in 2009 pernon-neutral term--classify as Category:Politicians or Category:Diplomats). I am in favour of this CfR as well, and I think our CfRs are compatible, so maybe we should fuse them? We upmerge the SMALLCATs, drop Ancient, and change statesmen into politicians, thereby solving 3 issues in 1 go! Good idea @Marcocapelle?
