    Just looking at the Irish and the British ones and, for the most part, these do seem to actually be people who were made famous by their participation in the series. Not so much the Australian one, although there do seem to be a couple.   • Comment. This discussion never really got off the ground. However, I have tidied up the category, showing candidates that appeared on the non-celebrity versions of the show in their relative national subcategory. Therefore, I believe the parent category now only includes celebrity season appearances which would not be WP:DEFINING per WP:PERFCAT, so if we were to purge that and make it a container category, this would clean it up nicely. --woodensuperman 11:15, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Fiction, myth, folklore, legend, ... – all separate and overlapping. (I also think the parent is misnamed, but that’s not today’s problem.) The category system doesn’t suit categories that have really fuzzy (and sometimes contentious) boundaries. In this particular case, I oppose adding mythological.
