Nominator's rationale: Overlapping category tree with the actual administrative subdivision, the counties of Sweden. I have further diffused when possible from article info but about 100 articles remain and most of them fit in a county category. The workflow could be to reparent the articles manually and delete the category when it only contains categories. Numbers above refer to articles only in each category. Nominator's rationale: The naming is just a bit confusing on the parent category, because it can be read as American describing the individual or the state. The real problem is in the subcategories, "Jewish American state legislators in Maine", as if some state legislators in Maine might not be American, which seems at least rather unlikely.
