Eunos MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West Line (EWL) in Geylang, Singapore. Operated by SMRT Trains, the station is connected to the Eunos Bus Interchange and provides access to nearby landmarks such as the Masjid Darul Aman and the Mangala Vihara Buddhist Temple. Eunos appeared in plans for the initial MRT system in May 1982, and construction of the station began in January 1986 under a joint venture between Oh Teck Thye and Okumura Corporation. Oh Teck Thye was placed under receivership in December 1986, terminating the joint venture, with Okumura continuing the project alone. Eunos, along with nine other stations from Marina Bay to Tanah Merah, opened on 4 November 1989. Platform screen doors were installed at Eunos in 2011. Unlike adjacent EWL elevated stations, which have domed roofs, Eunos has a traditional Malay roof. The station also has two murals as part of SMRT's heritage-themed Comic Connect public art display. Map of the Hebrides, with the Outer Hebrides in orange
Map of the Hebrides, with the Outer Hebrides in orange

There are more than 100 islands and skerries in the Outer Hebrides, a chain of islands and skerries located off the west coast of mainland Scotland. Lewis and Harris is the largest island in Scotland and the third-largest in the British Isles (after Great Britain and Ireland), and incorporates Lewis in the north and Harris in the south. To the south, across the Sound of Harris, lie the Uists and Benbecula, which were joined by a series of causeways constructed between 1940 and 1960 to improve transport links. The 19 inhabited islands in the Outer Hebrides had an estimated population of 26,020 in 2024. The islands of Scotland's west coast are known collectively as the Hebrides (map pictured); the Outer Hebrides are separated from the Inner Hebrides by the Minch to the north and the Sea of the Hebrides to the south. In addition to the inhabited islands, there are 58 uninhabited islands with an area greater than 25 hectares (37 acres) in the Outer Hebrides, as well as dozens of smaller islets and skerries.
