To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 20:37 on 10 May 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

- To charge the Model S, Tesla operates a network of fast-charging stations.: this is not quite right: the network was introduced at the same time, but doesn't exist to charge (only) the Model S. Suggest "Along with the Model S, Tesla introduced...". Pinging 750h+ for their input, and because the same is stated in the lead (but not the body). UndercoverClassicist T·C 12:41, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- i can't change the TFA blurb, but i'll change the article lead 750h+ 12:58, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
Done @750h+ and UndercoverClassicist: I have amended the blurb along the same lines as the update to the article lead. I assume since the nominator has made this change it is officially sanctioned, but pinging @TFA coordinators as well to be sure. — Amakuru (talk) 14:33, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Amakuru -- thanks -- could you remove the comma a network of fast-charging stations, to charge -- we don't want one before a purpose clause, in general? UndercoverClassicist T·C 15:09, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
Done. I would have thought it scans better with the comma myself but I know there are different schools of thought on this and by no means a hill I want to die on. — Amakuru (talk) 15:52, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Errors with "In the news"
- Pope blurb is rather long; suggest reducing a little bit by changing "pope of the Catholic Church" to simply "Catholic pope". Left guide (talk) 23:05, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Done. This blurb has been tweaked a lot of times so far, but this seems sensible. — Amakuru (talk) 11:06, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
Errors in "Did you know ..."
- Vilner Emes - concern on the factual accuracy of DYK hook is raised on Talk:Vilner_Emes. The academic refs says one thing, but the image used in the article doesn't match. --Soman (talk) 13:13, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- I suggest to wikilink Solapur in the picture caption. JMCHutchinson (talk) 16:42, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- This seems to have been done. Secretlondon (talk) 19:13, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Errors in "On this day"
1933 – Thousands of books on the history and healthcare of transgender people in Nazi Germany, taken from the Institute for Sexual Science, were burned in Bebelplatz Square for being "un-German".
The way this is phrased seems a bit odd. The event happened not long after the Nazis took power, so the books would have been about transgender people before Nazi Germany, not in Nazi Germany. Unfortunately, I can't think of a good alternative wording that maintains the bold link. Pinging User:Wasianpower. Jay8g [V•T•E] 02:26, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- I've had a go at rewording the hook. See what you think. Schwede66 03:57, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think it's an improvement, but I wouldn't be surprised if other people have MOS:EASTEREGG concerns. I've spent a bit more time thinking about it and came up with an alternative, though I think it's still a bit clunky.
As part of Nazi Germany's persecution of transgender people, thousands of books taken from the Institute for Sexual Science were burned in Bebelplatz Square for being "un-German".
- I'm not very good at this sort of short 1-sentence summary, which is why I normally work on POTD instead of OTD. Jay8g [V•T•E] 06:15, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- That wording works for me. Possible slight modification that emphasizes the contents of the books:
As part of Nazi Germany's persecution of transgender people, thousands of books on transgender history and healthcare from the Institute for Sexual Science were burned in Bebelplatz Square.
🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 10:35, 9 May 2025 (UTC)- Hey @Jay8g @Schwede66, looks like the hook has not yet been updated? I think we should fix the MOS:EASTEREGG issue before this goes live. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:55, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hey, are any admins available to update the OTD with either mine or Jay8g's version of the blurb? A little concerned about this one going live in its current state for the reasons discussed above. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 23:30, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- In a last ditch effort to try to catch this before it goes live, going to ping a few admins from the recently active admins toolforge — @Discospinster, @BD2412, @Drmies. Apologies for the extra pings. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 23:57, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- user:wasianpower, I wouldn't know what to do. Sorry. Drmies (talk) 23:59, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- No worries, sorry just trying to replace the blurb about trans people for tomorrow (today?) with a less misleading piped link; there are versions in Jay8g and my own comments above. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 00:00, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- user:wasianpower: I'm not an admin so I'm not of much help here, other than pinging User:RoySmith as an active admin who often works on the main page. Jay8g [V•T•E] 00:15, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping, but I just work on DYK and don't have any experience with the other sections, so I'll leave it to somebody who knows what they're doing there. RoySmith (talk) 00:18, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

- That wording works for me. Possible slight modification that emphasizes the contents of the books:
- The thousands of books were the complete library, weren't they? Not specifically ones about trans people. Secretlondon (talk) 12:43, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thousands of books on trans people were burned according to literature on the topic. Up to 100,000 books were burned at the event in total. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 12:49, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Mass burning of the Institute's books was an ominous harbinger of the Nazi regime's policies on non-hetero sexuality. -- Sca (talk) 15:18, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

One other issue here is with "Bebelplatz Square", which links to Bebelplatz: Platz already means "square", so it's "Bebel Square Square". This is fine for Wikipedia's general audience, but the word "square" should not be capitalized. — AjaxSmack 04:13, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
Hook tweaked. Sorry all, I didn't realise this was still a live issue in need of resolving, since I'd seen a lot of discussion and admins involved here yesterday. I have inserted Jay8g's version of the hook as given above, that seems to avoid the WP:EGG issue and reasonably concise. I've also lowercased square per the comment immediately above this one. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 11:12, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
