The article already exists in mainspace, Gregory Short. This draft copy is unnecessary and is being used by a WP:SPA editor as a back up, to periodically overwrite the article with his preferred text. TJRC (talk) 23:18, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete in favour of Gregory Short. With an SPA attempting to use it, something stronger than redirection is called for to remind him that the article is in mainspace and that new work should be done there. He may most certainly maintain records of articles, but off-site. However, the article is good and stable and very unlikely to ever be deleted, so I would trust the article and its history as a better and more reliable record than any off-site copy. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 23:40, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
• Comment; I've taken a closer look at the mainspace article and now also AfDed that one; so in all fairness, if any of the above !votes for deletion of the draft-space page was dependent on the expected retention of the mainspace article, I should probably make you aware of that AfD: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gregory Short. • Keep the draft if the main article is deleted through AfD. I'm not sure that the subject isn't a SP:N composer, and wouldn't want to make it harder than necessary for someone to try again. Newimpartial (talk) 14:21, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
