This was created by move. This should not redirect to the TV show Jericho. Perhaps to something like FEMA? Or disaster management? D O N D E groovily Talk to me 23:07, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. Right now it is linked from many pages, and we should at least give some time for the external links to get refined. I would happily retarget it in a couple of months, but not now. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 23:52, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Disambiguate to any articles we have on various federal responses of various federated countries. 70.24.248.23 (talk) 05:34, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- comment. There isn't really anything blindingly obvious as an alternative target. "Federal response" is predominately used in a non-specific way, to denote the response of a federal agency or the federal government to some event - most commonly Hurricane Katrina, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill or various aspects of the current financial crisis, although none are a primary topic and not really dab page entries. There are hundreds of other things there has been a federal response to, often involving the FBI, EPA or some or other financial regulator. Despite my best efforts, I can barely find anything using the words "Federal response" relating to a country other than the USA, and even then never anything specific. The best thing I can find is the Federal Response Plan, which our coverage of is at the title National Response Plan (at least I'm fairly sure, if I'm wrong feel free to correct me). Whether that makes a good redirect target or not I'm not sure. The TV show is not a primary topic for the collocation of the words "federal" and "response" but might be among specific things. All in all I'm not sure. Thryduulf (talk) 20:10, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Old Mexico
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was Keep for now. Ruslik_Zero 14:01, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Old Mexico → Mexico (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
Delete - Sure, there is a "New" Mexico, but Mexico is never referred to as "Old Mexico". The Mexico article does not mention "Old Mexico" anywhere. If someone is looking for Mexico, they wouldn't search for "Old Mexico", they would simply search for "Mexico". ANDROS1337TALK 05:29, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Speedy close with Keep decision. the redirect has relatively high hit count, and it is used in Charreada article. I would propose speedy closing this request and refining target in Charreada; if the redirect's use will drop to the noise level, this RfD could be restarted. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 09:14, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- I changed Charreada article's link to point to New Spain. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 09:20, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Keep, with 50-100 hits/month this is obviously used, it's not in the way of anything and it's not (afaia) offensive, so there is no reason to delete. Thryduulf (talk) 10:55, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- I suspect the hit count to come from Charreada article. Otherwise the redirect might be absolutely useless. That's why I propose speedy close for now with the possible revival after several months. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 21:01, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Disambiguate to various "Old Mexico"s such as the remaining part of Mexico still Mexico, Mexican Empire, New Spain, etc. 76.65.128.198 (talk) 06:27, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
