- The result of the discussion was retarget to Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace/Multi-level templates. I still don't know what the IM stands for... ~ Amory (u • t • c) 14:00, 11 February 2018 (UTC)

Retarget. This essay is a decade old, but appears to have only been cited twice in all that time. I think Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace/Multi-level templates would be a more logical target. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 15:45, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Update: GorillaWarfare told me over IRC that she thinks it "was a mistaken link" on her part. So that leaves (at most) one time it's ever been linked intentionally. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 05:44, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
Retarget to Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace per nom. Steel1943 (talk) 13:43, 9 February 2018 (UTC)- @Steel1943: Do you mean the Multi-level templates subpage like I suggested? If not, may I ask why not? Thanks. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 16:24, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

- Wikipedia:STOPCHANGINGIT → Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Video games#Cover art (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Delete as just kind of senseless; this sentiment could apply to anything, and it's not even correct (there are plenty of circumstances under which a video game cover image should be changed, e.g. because it's a non-English one and an English one is available, because it's a blurry image, and so on. This "commandment" also smacks of WP:OWN / WP:VESTED issues. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:32, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Delete 8 years ago it was a thing where there were frequent fights over which infobox image was the "correct" one, to the point where the redirect target has to say "If a suitable English-language cover art already exists on the subject page, then do not waste time replacing it with a different version.". 8 years on, it's not such a big deal, and the redirect is not terribly specific. --PresN 12:49, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

- Nintendo DS vs. PlayStation Portable console war → Glossary of video game terms (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Seems too overly specific and implausible as a redirect. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:19, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. No one is ever likely to use this exact phrase. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:22, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

- Invincibility → Glossary of video game terms (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
How in the name of all that is holy is "invincibility" only pertinent to video games? Perhaps this should be a soft Wiktionary redirect instead. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:17, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Soft redir, per nom, in absence of a better target. This is a common enough trope/motif in fiction of various kinds that an encyclopedic article could possibly be written about it, but if it hasn't been yet, it may never be. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:21, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Was changed from Invincible (disambiguation) in 2014, so it's been at the video game glossary for a while. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:32, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- Softly redirect to Wiktionary. None of the links at Invincible mention the nominative form of the word, so Wiktionary seems like the more logical target. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 03:59, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

Retarget to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, textbook, or scientific journal, with {{Redr|{{R to section}}}}
, to match WP:GAMEGUIDE, WP:NOT#GAMEGUIDE, and WP:NOTGAMEGUIDE. These are not appropriate alternative names for MOS:VG. "WP is not a [video] game guide" is a common phrase in correcting improper writing about games here, so the proposed target is a far more plausible, thus the pre-existing shortcuts. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 05:55, 4 February 2018 (UTC); revised to include Wikipedia:VGGUIDE, 06:18, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

No evidence of necessity of the "www." prefix. Just "Poptropica.com" is much more appropriate. Bneu2013 (talk) 05:52, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. This isn't an article title, it's a redirect, so WP:CONCISE and WP:PRECISE do not apply. A copy-paste of the hostname is entirely plausible. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:24, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- Weak Keep - I'm not sure about this. At the same time, it seems perfectly reasonable for us to expect people to type the entire website name, including the prefix, into the search engine when so many individuals aren't familar with Wikipedia naming guidelines.
