  • Delete per nom. Redirect provides no substantive improvement to WP. Searching "Where did you come..." automatically completes to 'Where did you come from, where did you go', which rediects appropriately and is gramatically incorrect. This article, which I created, uses an incorrect title. I moved it to the correct title but the redirect is not a name ever used in sources for this topic, so it's not a plausible alternative name that could justify a redirect. No articles link here. Delete The redirect might confuse readers into believing this name was ever real, when only mentions of the web are Wikipedia mirrors. If they accidentally put a gerund, Wikipedia's search function handles it well. Ca talk to me! 00:34, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support. It is an incorrect title for the topic that is solely due to my own error. It is never used in sources and is not, therefore, a plausible redirect. However, it is showing up in Google searches:

I looked again and found a couple of examples where "International Networking Working Group" is used in sources. Although it is still a typo in both cases, I think it is therefore a plausible redirect and probably where I got it from in the first place:

  • Keep. Cross-namespace redirects from the article to project namespace are good in a very limited range of circumstances, but the most common one of those is where the target page needs to be easily located by very new editors who can't be expected to have learned about namespaces yet. Though CNRs have a tendency for deletion, this one is long-standing for over a decade, and has 90 page views per months, showing its benefit to readers who are confused about Wikipedia's vital article classification system.   • Keep only Vital articles per Ca. Searching "'vital articles'" on Google only gives me Wikipedia. Searching "'vital articles' - wikipedia" gives me Wikimedia, other fandom wikis, and people who happened to use that phrase in that way. This has pretty much become a Wikipedia-specific term.
