Narrowing a Google search
I need to do a regular search for news about certain topics/keywords. How do I get Google to present the results in chronological order and to disregard anything older than 48 hours? With a "simple" search it delivers articles up to several weeks old and lists them in no particular order. I mostly do this on an Android phone using Chrome (if it matters). Don't usenews.google.com to search, but usewww.google.com, selecting "News", and then, after the search results come up, select "Tools > Recent". ("Tools" is all the way to the right on the bar that begins "All Images Maps News".) Clicking "Recent" gives a drop-down menu with choices "Past hour / Past 24 hours / Past week / ...". There is no option for a time in between 24 hours and one week. --Lambiam19:54, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
