Time for Google to find a Wikipedia article

How long does it take google to normally track/find an new Wikipedia article? It is extremely common to do a google search and have a Wikipedia article as the number 1 or number 2 search result. But, what is the average time for google to start tracking a new Wikipedia article? Elijahandskip (talk) 15:13, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Articles I've written have turned up in Google searches the next day (though I've never checked for smaller time increments). For some of the niceties, see Wikipedia:Controlling search engine indexing#Indexing of articles ("mainspace"). Deor (talk) 18:18, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
