I am about to have set a rangeblock on 67.236.245.9/19 due to ongoing vandalism at Major League Baseball 2K9 caused by User:Jwjkp and their associated socks. I wanted to make sure that a) a block would not disable any legitimate editors, b) check for sleeper socks and c) make sure the rangeblock is adequate to take care of this vandal. Page protection has not yet worked on this vandal.

Aramis87 (talk · contribs) had already been blocked, but Aramis86 (talk · contribs) had not. Previously, protecting the article for a week did not dissuade the vandal. The block is currently set for 3 months, but I'm not against lifting it after a few weeks if there's an unblock request or three. Roughly half of the recent edits from the IP range were from the Jwjkp (talk · contribs) socks, with a few hit-and-run vandals thrown in for good measure.
