Modus operandi: this user goes from wiki to wiki trying to get administrator privileges (and has done this successfully at http://pl.harrypotter.wikia.com gaining admin rights for at least two of his socks Diveks and Karu). It is highly desirable to run checkuser through whole wiki project, if possible, because half dozen Alden Jones socks have been unmasked at Polish Wikipedia (Karu, Alden Jones,DivX, Juguu, Cetzer, Opiek, Zun, Sharon) at least two his socks are known to me at Commons. Another common tactics of this disruptive editor is to vandalize pages as IP, and revert those changes when logged in, I guess this is a part of his adminship campaigns to gain trust as vandal-fighter. This off-wiki discussion is quite revealing [1] - Karu (=Alden Jones the Admin) gives a good lecture to IP (=Alden Jones the Vandal) [2]. These tactics have been tried and tested by Alden also at en.wiki. This case is particularly funny - Alden vandalizes his sock's (in my opinion) userpage as IP [3] and reverts himself logged-in as PaulBird[4]and later removes some nonsense as Alden[5]. Besides the usual editing pattern obvious evidence that Alden and IP is the same person is available here. In this case Alden vandalizes his own user page as IP [6], and removes "personal attack" as Alden[7]. More of the same [8][9]. Since his actions at en.wiki came under scrutiny, Alden decided to leave wikipedia in favour of wikiquotes for a fresh start [10][11].
