GeorgeBP

  • Code letter: E

I'm not trying to make this a fishing expedition, but the semi-protected Ann Coulter is being edited by an onslaught of newer registrations. Since GeorgeBP has shown prior willingness to evade the 3RR rule with socks (having broken the rule on this article twice in the last 10 days), it seems probable that some of these new accounts are related. If so, we're looking at another 3RR violation. The first two seem especially likely to me because like GeorgeBP, they've shown editorial interest in Ann Coulter and comics. • The last eight users above haven't shown an interest in replicating GeorgeBP's particular edit, so they may not be related to him. However, the last five might be connected to each other because their edits bear a stiking similarity. Please check these too. They might also be in violation of the 3RR.  Likely that Jill DeRay (talk · contribs) is a sockpuppet of GeorgeBP. Everything else inconclusive/unrelated. Mackensen (talk) 08:08, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

March 1 request

CuriousDog (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) seems to have the same agenda as currently blocked GeorgeBP (talk · contribs), who was operating using dynamic IP's from Brazil and is now possibly evading a 24 hour 3RR block. In this edit CuriousDog re-signs an edit for an anonymous IP address that re-signed an edit that re-signed the same edit that CuriousDog forgot to sign. These IP's 201.9.27.236 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) and 201.9.37.202 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) both come from Brazil, similar to the 201.9.*.* IPs that were blocked because of Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/GeorgeBP. February 27 request

  • Code letter: A, C, E.

GeorgeBP is engaged in an edit war on Ann Coulter. Two days ago he was blocked for 3rr and since then has been allowing his session to expire so to camouflage his edits. (He's not doing a very good job of it, see Talk:Ann Coulter) Here are some examples of the IPs engaging in disruptive behaviour.

Thank you. Kyaa the Catlord 01:11, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed for the first, the others are  Likely. Essjay (Talk) 01:47, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question, is it proper procedure to list this now on the 3rr board? I'm new at this, sorry. Kyaa the Catlord 01:53, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You can. Essjay (Talk) 02:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
